Hello, I am John Jackson. I was born in Maricopa Arizona to my lovely family of 6 kids. My Father passed away soon before my 3rd birthday and I was raised by my late beautiful Mother Margaret Jackson.
Growing up, I loved exploring the Arizona Desert, Reading, Daydreaming, and waking up with the rising sun. Our precious mother often made us work in those early hours of the morning taking care of our 20 acre piece of land. In the afternoon we would go swimming, biking, and movie watching.
As I grew up I took interest in Theatre, Computer Networking, and Business.
When I turned 18, I had the opportunity to go serve a mission for the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter Day Saints, an endevour that would change my life.
My Family (Left to Right): Angeli Jackson, Dauvian Jackson, John Jackson (Me), Margaret Jackson (Photo), Nicholas Jackson, Heidi Jackson, Quincee Jackson.
Spending 2 years in El Salvador teaching the gospel principles of Faith in Jesus Christ, Repentance, Baptism, and following Heavenly Father's promptings was one of the most challenging and rewarding times of my life. During this 2 year period my mother, Margaret Jackson, passed away after a 3 year battle with Uterine Cancer. I've since had the opportunity to discover and deepen my own values and faith as I've experienced the continuing grief.
Upon returning from my mission, I accepted a sales position with BK Marketing where, after applying pest control for Aruza Pest for some months, I started selling pest door-to-door. This month long experience opened my eyes up to the financial possibilities that come with connecting with people. I also learned what was important to me in a team. I learned that I wanted to be the best, and work with the best.
Little did I know that I was about to embark on another journey of self-discovery when I decided to apply to Brigham Young University (BYU) and move to Utah. With goals to keep learning and studying in the Construction Management space, I started an internship with PCL Construction working on the new Salt Lake City Waste Water Treatment Facility Project. This gave me insight into the importance of teamwork and opened my eyes to what one day could become my future work.
In January 2025 I started studying Construction Management and Global Business with a goal to develop international infrastructure in poorer countries throughout the world. This is a journey I am still pursuing. In the Summer of 2025 I had the opportunity to travel to Asia in order to study Chinese at 中心大學 in Taichung, Taiwan. At the same time, I connected with schools in Indonesia at which I taught English. My resolve to strengthen communities and provide the basic needs of education, water, food, sanitation, electricity and access was strengthened as I traveled these countries. I also increased my desire to keep beautifying this wonderful earth.
I've sinced returned and continued my studies. In January of 2026 I started FLOW Flowers, a Door-to-door Flower Subscription Brand that helps people to bring fresh flowers to their house year around. This is the start of many sustainability endeavors that I wish to pursue as we beautify people's homes.
The journey continues...
As I continue this journey, I've set goals to become what I like to call "My Wife's Dream Man." While some of those goals/plans mentioned may be trivial, they are personal desires of mine. Other endevours include becoming a better disciple of Jesus Christ, Falling in Love, and Starting a Family.
